Algae eater for my danios?

i have a 10 gallon tank with 3 zebra danios and 1 glo-lite tetra. i want to get some sort of algae eater to put in the tank to keep it clean (it has been up for atleast a month and things are getting slimy, so he will have food) i have a chinese algae eater in my 20 gallon tank but they are all semi-agressive and i have heard that the chinese algae eaters get more agressive as they get older. so, what would be a good guy to put in to the 10 gallon to take care of my algae, but is more lively like the chinese algae eater and not boring like a regular pleco and wont hurt my little fish? thank you :)
