Hydrochloric Acid and Crohn's Disease?

I have not heard of any case of HCl leading to Crohn's Disease. There is a strong genetic component in Crohn's, but nobody knows why it manifests. There are quite a few examples of people who start having symptoms and thinking back to what happened about the time the symptoms started, and people can often find something to blame it on with no real connection.
