At this point, shouldn't the Iraq War be an 'all or nothing' proposition for America?

We should have kept the politicians and the news crews out in the first place and let the Military do what they are trained for. You would think we learned our lesson after Vet Nam. War of any scale is nasty, and needs to be to keep them from being a daily thing. But, you have the people who think they can change the world to liking each other (even though it has never happened in History) and who think that you can "Just give peace a chance". Sorry, but It will never happen, so just let armies do what they are used for and be done with it. If we had, there would be far less killed and we would already have most back home.
