Did those stereotypes and tainted words about islam really work?

Speaking through the media's prospective demonizing Islam by showing how backward their countries and rules are has worked politically and has public convinced BUT there is always a catch, right? West just created another problem which is putting Islam in the center and known to everyone which means more people research it and many are converting. Christian try to prove the conversion rate wrong but the truth is so many people are converting to Islam in secrecy or come out by the thousands a year in U.S alone . The rate was very low in West decades ago because the general population knew Islam existed and thats about it but not many looked into it. In U.S there are more than a million converts with total Muslim population as 7 million not 3.
