Food aggression towards other dogs?

Bella may grow out of this as she realizes there will always be food available to her. It would be wise to feed them separately until then,or at least be there with them while they eat. If she is not aggressive with you,you may try training her not to be food aggressive. I've done this with my boxers but only do this if you know she isn't going to bite you. You are dealing with a bully dog(does not refer to their being bullies) and they have very powerful jaw muscles. As she is eating, take her food away from her. Make her sit and do not give her food back until she does. She will learn if she is patient, she will be fed. As the older dog,she will want to be dominate. Also, boxers and pitts have a dominate personality. They aren't necessarily aggressive dogs, just dominate. You need to be sure she knows you and your wife are pack leaders. Bella may have been starving, alone and remembers this. It is only natural she would try to hog all of the food, toys and attention if she were in that situation. Give her time and maybe she will calm down and maybe Sasha will begin to stick up for herself.
