Not Allowed to wear short shorts?!?

Im 13 and i got to a public school. I just wanted to know what you all think about short shorts. So this year we got this new rude teacher who thinks shes always right and thinks that she can do whatever she wants. Last year my school didnt care about us wearing short shorts, until this dumb teacher came along. About 3 weeks ago she came into our clroom and is like: The hot weather is coming up and i know that some of you girls love short shorts, but guess what your not allowed to wear them and if i catch you wearing them your gonna be in trouble. Well last weekend i went shopping and the only shorts that the mall had were SHORT SHORTS! So i bought 2 pairs. Today i decided to wear my new short shorts to school. So i was outside for recess and after 14 minutes the bell rang. We were all entering the building when i heard the teacher thats rude say outloud Stop! Those shorts look to short. I turned around and shes like come here. So i went over to her and shes like: If i catch you wearing those again im gonna send u home. LIKE WTF! THERE ARE NO OTHER SHORTS IN THE DANG STORES THAT I CAN BUY AND THAT I LIKE! im so ticked off! MY WASNT EVEN HANGING OUT and she thinks that they look bad and arent appropriate. So now i have like no shorts to wear to school becasue of HER!
